After the success of the Lance Mackey tribute Christmas Cards, we really wanted to follow it up with a 2023 Calendar.
Unfortunately, we were not able to get things sorted before Christmas.
But instead of putting the whole idea on hold for 12 months, we decided to soldier on and get the 2023 Lance Mackey Calendars out as soon as we could.
We can now unveil the photos that have been selected and the front and back cover design.
We would like to say a massive thank you to Jeff Schultz of schultzphoto.com for allowing us to use these special images of Lance.
Jeff Schultz is not only a world renowned photographer, he is the official photographer for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race.
Over the last few years he has helped create a unique project known as the Faces of Iditarod, which not only shows photos, details and voices of the mushers that take part in the Last Great Race, but also the helpers, the handlers, the vets, and even the individual dogs.
You can see more of this unique project at faces.iditarod.com
We would also like to say thank you to Jadan Press of Hull UK, who did such a great job with the printing of the Christmas Cards, we have entrusted them again to print the Calendars. They are a fantastic company who produce quality printed items at a great price. You can see more of Jadan Press at jadan-press.co.uk
We only have a limited run of these unique calendars. There are only 50 available.
All profits from the sale of these calendars will go to funding the 2023 race season.
Everyone who buys one will also get a mention on the website.
They were originally going to be priced at $12.99 USD but due to us missing the beginning of the month we have dropped the price slightly to compensate for this.
These are now available for $10.99 plus shipping.
